High school students, who want an internship with the Lab during the school year, can apply from August 1st to December 31st.

High school students should apply between January 1st and April 11th for summer internships.

Students that will have graduated from high school and have been accepted into an undergraduate program should apply for an undergraduate (UGS) internship.

•  All may apply to a high school internship. If a student is not from Northern New Mexico, then their mentor will need to submit a request for an exception
• Must be a second semester junior at the time of applying and a senior during the internship
• Must be 16 years old at the start of the internship
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
